Bar am Park

Like all bars, our Bar am Park is also the beating heart of our hotel. We have a large selection of cocktails, spirits, wines, coffee specialities and small dishes such as burgers and fingerfood. These superb offerings and the cosy atmosphere make the Bar am Park, the Sheraton bistro, a much loved meeting place. And it is not just for guests of the hotel: as Essen's only day bar, plenty of locals also like to frequent the establishment.

The colour palette of the bar, a soft pastel green, lavender and rose provides for a cosy yet fresh atmosphere. The colour scheme is a pleasant contrast to the large, dark wengé wood of the interior and the parquet floors. The real eye-catching element of the bar is the computer controlled colour show behind the bar. Its ever-changing light display provides for a truly unique atmosphere.

Summer terrace at the park

On a picturesque summer's day we whole-heartedly recommend a relaxing visit to the large terrace of our Bar am Park.

It opens outwards onto the park and offers a wonderful view over the green, natural surroundings. The entire bar menu is also served here.
